Weekly Photos – Mossy Road

I may have mentioned it before, but one of the things I like most in photos is bokeh. On the way to the nature preserve from Sundays photo walk I found some moss that was growing in a nice little curve on the side of the road.

By getting close to the road and angling the camera nearly parallel to it I was able to get a nice amount of bokeh in the image while still having the foreground in focus. Since the moss fades into the background it also acts as a leading line to pull you through the image.
